Staff Occupational Therapist

Katy is a co-founder of Kids Thrive Therapy. She received a Master’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in 2005. She has more than 15 years of experience treating individuals of all ages to achieve independence and an improved quality of life. Katy has been primarily working with children since 2011 in public and non-public school settings as well as outpatient pediatric practices. She is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding as well as Handwriting Without Tears. Katy is passionate about advocating for children, connecting with families and celebrating each child’s accomplishments. Katy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and running. She is a member of the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

John is a co-founder of KTT and a healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He has held various roles in the functions of finance, HR, and operations in small, midsize, and large healthcare companies. At KTT, he leads the business management functions with a priority on client service, and creating a fun and engaging culture within the practice. John is a CPA and a graduate of Loyola University. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball and golfing. John is married with two children and lives in the Baltimore area.

Addie Stang received her Master's Degree from Elizabethtown College. She is a certified ADHD services provider. Addie completed her graduate research at Elizabethtown College, with a focus in pediatrics, interoception and emotional regulation. She presented this research at the American Occupational Therapy Association Conference in 2019. Addie was a three-sport college athlete and played on the lacrosse, field hockey and golf teams. In addition, she was named the Distinguished College Athlete her senior year. During her free time Addie enjoys going to the beach! Addie is a member of the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Staff Occupational Therapist

Erin received her Master's Degree from Towson University and has been an occupational therapist for 12 years.  She has treated clients of all ages but has a passion for working in pediatrics.  She has worked in private practice, school and skilled nursing facility settings and has experience in neurological techniques, vision therapy, feeding therapy, and sensory integration.  Erin is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. During her free time, Erin loves spending time with family and friends, travel and staying active.  She is from New York (Yankee fan) but has grown to love Maryland over the last 15 years and lives in Baltimore City with her husband and daughter.

Joelle received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. She has worked in outpatient pediatrics, and currently holds certifications in Neurodevelopmental Treatment, and as a Breastfeeding Specialist. Joelle is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding, Beckman Oral-Motor Protocol, and Handwriting Without Tears. Additionally, she has experience with a humanitarian organization, working in 20 countries as a logistic coordinator, team leader and occupational therapy consultant. During her free time, Joelle loves to hike, run, travel, watch and play soccer. She has a passion for helping kids live to the fullest, empowering families, and mobilizing communities to thrive!  

Stephanie received her Master’s Degree in occupational therapy and her post-baccalaureate certificate in autism studies from Towson University. She is also a certified Tummy Time Method provider. Stephanie has experience with sensory-motor development and primitive reflex integration. Additionally, she is passionate about infant development as well as feeding difficulties and pre- and post- frenectomy therapy in infancy. During her free time, Stephanie loves spending time with family and friends- especially with her newborn son, Daxten. She also loves the outdoors, camping, and racing. Stephanie recently has moved back to Maryland from Nashville, TN to be closer to family.

Front Desk Coordinator

Stacey received her Master's Degree from Towson University and has been an occupational therapist for 5 years. She has worked in transdisciplinary outpatient pediatrics and is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding (level 3). Additionally, Stacey specializes in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyslexia. Stacey has worked closely with Speech Therapists for the past 4 1/2 years learning how to use, modify, and integrate AAC and low-tech communication devices into sessions. In addition, she has worked with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to analyze the function of behaviors and support families to help improve their quality of life. Stacey also currently works in Hampstead where she teaches children and adults how to ride horses. During her free time, Stacey loves to ride her horse (Jazzy), Latin dance, cook, and spend time with her family and friends.

Julia has been working in the health and medical field for the last 11 years. She’s previously worked as a one-to-one aide with special needs children at an elementary school and she ran a therapy office. She handles the all-around organization of the office and will gladly check into any of your insurance questions, or handle your scheduling needs. In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time outside with her husband and 2 dogs, and working on home renovation projects.

Erin is working towards earning her entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University and will be graduating in 2021. She has completed clinical rotations in adult mental health, outpatient pediatrics, outpatient neurorehab, and inpatient adult rehab. Her professional interests include, pediatrics, neurorehab, and sensory integration. Erin worked with an individual who is blind and on the autism spectrum throughout graduate school and is passionate about helping others become more independent while participating in meaningful activities. She is also a member of the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. During her free time, Erin enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Erin is excited to complete her fieldwork rotation at Kids Thrive Therapy and continue to grow as a future occupational therapy practitioner!
